Hunting for my Clan

OOC: Told you you were mates

"Alright." she said. "But I wanted to ask you something."





OOC: It took my friend to join to do it!!!

"Yes. What is it?" Bramblefire asked

"Should anything happen to me..." Boneshatter began, "Would you take care of my kit? I don't trust Blitzstar's take-over-the-forest ambitions much anymore. I need land, and I'll have to find it for my Clan! Only this moon I lost three kits, two elders, and an apprentice to hunger!"

"Yes I will I promise." Bramblefire promised Boneshatter,"I will keep it from harm."

Boneshatter purred. "Thank you!" she said. "I'm sorry I was so bitter to you before. I...I just needed to protect myself and my Clan. And I don't want anyone to know about my sad history..." She remembered the thing that hurt her most, making her mourn for so long and then become cold and bitter. A tear ran down her whisker.

"Your welcome Boneshatter." Bramblefire said to her

Boneshatter nodded. How long can I keep my past hidden? Should I tell her about...about them? she thought.

Bramblefire didn't want to know about her past because it was probably really sad and she didn't want the powerful she cat see her cry.

OOC: or should i say Queen?

OOC: Either one, and feel free to ask

IC: Boneshatter shook her head. She whisper-promised herself she wouldn't cry if she had to tell the story.

OOC: Fine

IN: "Whats wrong Boneshatter?" the deputy asked

OOC: I said if you want! You didn't have to!

IC: "Oh, um...it's just..." she began. "I had a mate once named Scar and he died in a battle. I had three kits with him before that. I almost died protecting them, but a cat slipped behind me when I was fighting. I killed him, but then realized he killed my kits. I failed them."

"No you didn't Bone. You tried. That's all you could do." Bramblefire said

"But I failed them." Boneshatter bowed her head in sadness and shame. "I let them die!"

"No you didn't! Someone fought unfairly and this is the out come of it. I'm sure nothing bad will ever happen to this new kit." Brambvlefire assured her

Boneshatter sighed. "I guess so..." she said. "But I'll never let it out of my sight-not even in battle."

"Good." Bramblefire said

Boneshatter purred. "I'll come visit you after she can walk and talk, okay? Or you can always visit me, just tell a patrol I sent you, and they'll take you right to me."

"Okay. But I must be getting to my clan. Goodbye Boneshatter." Bramble said before turning and leaving.

"Bye." she said. She picked up the prey and went on hunting for a bit before heading home.

OOC: Want to have Dreamkit join and we can skip time again? XD

"Momma, who's Bramblefire?" Dreamkit asked. "A friend of mine. If she doesn't come today, we'll go see her tomorrow." Dreamkit bounced up and down. "Yay!" She looked a lot like Boneshatter, but had a few different patterns on her fur.

Bramblefire went to the SlayerClan camp without any trouble. "Boneshatter?" she called out

Boneshatter heard her name being called, and she looked out of the Nursery/Apprentice den. She padded out to see, through the busy cats, Bramblefire. Dreamkit was at her heels. Boneshatter padded up to her. "Hi!" Boneshatter said. "Hi! I'm Dreamkit, are you Bramblefire?" Dreamkit asked, bouncing up and down in excitement.

"Yes I am little cutie." she said to the little kit.
