Boneshatter padded out of the bushes, carrying three mice by their tails. Hope he's not making friends before we take over this place...she thought. She almost growled. Plus, the mice came from LionClan territory.

Blitzstar saw Boneshatter and looked weird.

"None of your business!" Boneshatter growled. My cats are going hungry...but I'll train them harder and harder all the same! she thought.

Bramblefire looked at them shocked. Are they really asking me this... Should i say yes... I'm so confused... I thought they were good... "Well I can see you guys are mates, like Bonnie and Clyde, but I wont join you." She looked to Blitzstar. "I'm sorry but I will not be friends with a traitor to their tribe." She looked to Boneshatter. "I will also not fight you now because I am out numbered and I am probably the only one to know of you terrible plot." She turned her tail and headed to her clan to tell her leader.

Boneshatter laughed as she stopped the cat. "First off, we're not mates. Second, you'd be better off joining us! You'd probably live! And third, he's not a traitor. Listen, we all need more territory, so why not make it all one big one? We could all be leaders of such a big place. You want to be leader...don't you." She looked into the cat's eyes, trying to pick her apart to join them.

"Boneshatter, I'm not stupid. I can tell you guys are mates, don't deny it. Also I know if I join you I'll end up being killed, and I don't wanna be, because as soon as we do rule you'll just kill me to rule with your mate and I'll be outta the way. Now move because I would rather die than betray my clan." she growled at the SlayerClan leader. Then she looked back at Blitzstar. She kinda felt sorry for ever seeing something more of him. Then she muttered, "What ever happened to fighting side by side against SlayerClan?" At that she walked away from the traitor and the power hungry she cat.

Boneshatter growled. "We wouldn't kill you, my not-mate friend and I." she said. "We just need more room to live!" She knew it wouldn't work and sighed. "My cats are dying. There's little space left from taking in new members and even less food to go around." She looked at her stomach. She could see a bit of her own ribs.

Bramblefire ignored the cat. She didn't want to hear lies. She turned around and stared at Blitzstar. Hoping he'll say something.

"My cats are dying!" Boneshatter said. "If we don't get food and real dens soon, we'll have to move, and I don't know where we could live! Join us and help us take over the forest, and all the cats can live under one big territory, with plenty of food and dens!"

Boneshatter sighed. "My cats won't be able to survive." she said. "I will go to the stinking Twolegplace once more to gather everyone. We will leave as soon as we can, and go somewhere it is safe and good to live-wherever it may be." She began to walk home.

Bramblefire thought as she ran, Maybe I'm just being selfish. Should I join them? But my leader might think of my as a traitor and tell everyone that I betraied him. I just don't know what to do. But no matter what she says I know they are mates. I just know.
